From 1933 to 1938, Saint-Exupéry was very busy. He traveled to North Africa and Indochina, and attempted to break the flight speed record from Paris to Saigon, Vietnam—during which his plane crashed again. It went down in the middle of the Sahara Desert. After his recovery, his life became even busier.
